For this landmark event, instead of using a team building activity simply as a supporting mechanism for the conference content… a bespoke filmmaking team building event was used to deliver the entire solution.
Instead of punctuating the formalities of an orthodox-type conference with team building as an energiser or break out activity, we developed the entire content to be delivered as an integrated team build, as the spotlight was turned on the delegates to create their own content.
The 140 delegates were challenged to create a series of short movies around a popular movie genre, from Austin Powers to Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter to Grease – each with the objective to communicate a specific business-critical message.
The event was brought to a rousing finale as the Oscars were handed out for ‘Best Movie’ at a Hollywood themed Gala dinner with the movies being aired on the main screen!
